What is flagship content?
This type of content can be thought of like your marketing and sales anchor. This is the piece of content that you would hang your hat on and stand behind no matter what. It’s content that holds a special place in your heart because it’s why you’re in business in the first place. It’s the type of educational informaiton you talk about in meetings, share with your peers and advise to your mentors. It’s your holy grail.
If you’re struggling to decide on your flagship content, here are some thoughts to get you thinking:
- What topic do you find yourself talking about most often?
- If you had to speak to an audience in Madison Square Garden, what would you say to hold their attention?
- When someone asks you “What’s your story?” what pops into your head first? Why?
- When you get up to begin your day, what has you the most excited about your work day?
Your answers will help lead you into why you are doing what you’re doing in business. They help shed light into your story.
