Get to Know Eva Jackson! 

Day Job: Senior Marketing Manager at Emplify

What my job entails: I joke that I am the least creative person on the marketing team. My role is really to make sure that projects are completed on time and under budget, and I ensure that they meet our business objectives. This is accomplished through quarterly marketing plans and weekly project sprints. I also spearhead all of the reporting for our team and manage our team budget. 

What I find most exciting/interesting about marketing: I really enjoy seeing a finished project "out in the wild" and how it brings value to our marketing strategy. We go to a lot of events, and it's always really exciting to hear someone complement our booth or branding. The same goes for customer videos, case studies, website updates, or any other project that the team is excited about. 

What I enjoy about AMA Indy: AMA is a great opportunity to meet marketers from all over Indy who represent a variety of industries and company sizes. From startups to corporate marketing, there is always someone to relate to or to learn from. 

What I do for fun: I run a local meetup group called Agile Marketing Indy, which focuses on how to integrate Agile principles into marketing workflow. I also enjoy traveling, binge-watching shows on Netflix, and spending time with our pets (Beans the dog and Vinny the cat). 

You may be surprised to know that: My husband, Jeffrey, and I are diehard bar trivia nerds. We've been playing at the same bar in Indy for over three years and have formed a lot of friendships with the other teams and staff. Our bartender actually came to our wedding!
