The Marketing Insights Council is a group of American Marketing Association member volunteers who serve in an advisory role for the AMA, helping the association better assess needs and trends in the research and insights industry. They help ensure that the AMA provides content and programming that meets the needs of marketers throughout their professional lifecycles. The MIC has contributed to the development of new offerings for the insights community, including the annual Analytics with Purpose Conference, which will be held next in Coronado, Calif. March 2-4, 2014.
The composition of the MIC reflects the wide spectrum of the field, with representatives from across the industry. They advices the AMA on its major projects, content and conferences that target the research and insights community.
