Alli Donovan
PRESIDENT
Alli Donovan is the 2022-2023 President of Indy AMA. Alli is originally from Vincennes, IN and moved to Indianapolis while attending the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. Her current role as an Account Executive at Miller Brooks, Inc., a marketing agency on the northside of Indianapolis, allows her to manage numerous projects and work with the internal creative team and multiple external clients.
Outside of work, Alli is a freelance writer, on both the Marketing & Events Committees with Indy Design Week, and a Life in Indy Indyfluencer with the Indy Chamber. She is avid traveler - has traveled to all 50 states and over 30 national parks.
Heather Brogden
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
Heather Brogden is a storyteller, entrepreneur, and leader in the field of video communications. She founded Unique Heart Productions, a high-end wedding film company, in 2011; started Porch Marketing in 2015; and acquired New Thread Films in 2019. As a certified change management specialist who holds a BA in Journalism from Indiana University, she focuses on creating transformation through storytelling for her clients.
Outside of work, Heather is active in her community and is a member of the 2021 James T. Morris Global Leadership Series Cohort, as well as the Advance 317 Leadership Exchange (LEX). Heather volunteers as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana and enjoys attending First Friday arts and culture events, supporting local chefs, and spending time with family and friends.
Steven Follis
TREASURER
Steven Follis serves as Treasurer, ensuring AMA Indy is fiscally responsible and supporting membership. Outside of his work for the Indy chapter, Steven is a managing member for Trent Management, a property management company in Indianapolis.
Amanda Briggs
SECRETARY
Amanda Briggs serves as AMA Indy’s Secretary where she support the chapter’s operations and reporting standards. Outside of the AMA, Amanda is the Director of Marketing at the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI.
Whitley Yates
DEI CHAIR
Whitley serves as DEI Chair for the AMA Indy. She works with our board members to monitor and work towards a more equitable marketing community. Outside of her work for our Indy chapter, Whitley is the Director for Diversity at the Indiana Republican Party and is Founder of the Niche Agency, a local marketing agency focused on multi-cultural marketing.
Katie Gilmore
PAST PRESIDENT’S CLUB CHAIR
Katie Gilmore is Director of Clients, Market and Communications at Dentons Bingham Greenebaum, where she leads a team dedicated to growing revenue by increasing visibility, creating internal and external connections, and supporting business development efforts. As part of the world’s largest law firm, Dentons connects clients with talent and resources locally, nationally and globally.
